Ok bakery but the famous scallop pies are full of seafood extender - yuk. Not to mention dangerous as we have a serious allergy to crustacean.
Their pies were just so so, especially the scallop pie and chunky beef pie, they were very very salty. Maybe I was unlucky? Giving it 4 stars purely because of their Doughnuts. I bought 2 dozen of them... surprisingly delicious.
Worth the stop here in Port Fairy. The pastry of the pies is amazing and the service the greatest kind of 'country friendly'. Great selection of baked treats and pastries!
Nice selection, clean store. A little bit of a wait, because food is being made fresh. Staff a little gruff, but not rude. Overall worth the stop.
Steak and mushroom pie was very nice and well-priced. Vanilla slice was a little too stodgy but very fresh. Service friendly and quick.
