Massive council run park, staff not very friendly (but understandable during peak times I guess). If your goal is to stay in Port Fairy this park will do the job. Location is very good.
I come here a few times every year and always enjoy Southcombe for various reasons, but mainly because its so close to everything.
Very busy large park. Good clean amenities. Poor TV reception.
I was given friendly assistance to change my booking due to a funeral. Reception was welcoming. Everything is well maintained, tidy and clean. A large public swimming pool is close-by. Surrounded by acres of sporting ovals, parkland and vegetated coastal dunes there are interesting and comfortable walks to the shops, the beaches and to all the other enjoyments of Port Fairy. Sites offer a good variety of outlooks and access to amenities. We enjoy returning at least once a year. (P. S. Don't rely on the free Wi-Fi... slow and limited... ...but how important? )
