Seated outside at the bench seats with a pot of Carlton Draught, soft, tasty shanks on mash, followed by delicious sticky date pudding in perfect weather was fabulous. Buffet choice of vegetables and other extras, including meals bought out, and deserts when we were ready, were thoroughly enjoyed.
The rooms are not worth and not well maintained. The bar next door is quite lively and nice.
Couldn't be happier with the service, staff were friendly and helpful, food was superb, and they went above and beyond to accommodate us with our extra requests(Finding candles for a birthday cake). Would recommend without a second thought for anyone wanting a good meal in a great venue.

Awesome meal, as always. This place never disappoints of you're seeking an honest, appetising meal in a special pub. Nowhere I've been to in Victoria meets these two demands better.
